Pistachio Chocolate Protein Smoothie with Cottage Cheese

  • Add 1/2 cup almond milk, 1/4 cup cottage cheese, 1/2 frozen banana, 1/4 cup frozen cauliflower, 1 scoop vanilla protein powder, 1 tablespoon cocoa powder, 1 tablespoon maple syrup, 1 tablespoon tahini, and 1 tablespoon pistachios to your blender.
  • Blend all ingredients on high speed for 30-60 seconds until completely smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash more almond milk. If too thin, add more frozen banana or ice.

Freeze your cauliflower first: Freezing cauliflower eliminates any veggie taste and helps create that perfect smoothie texture without ice.
Use full-fat cottage cheese: I've found the higher fat content creates a creamier cottage cheese smoothie recipe and keeps you fuller longer.
Prep ahead freezer packs: I portion all the frozen ingredients into baggies for quick morning assembly - this saves at least 5 minutes when I'm rushing out the door.
